Remnant Bodies 2008 - present
A series of hand-worked, small- to medium-scale flexible sculptures made from previously used, pliable materials. Each work is shaped by a commitment to use the entirety of a selected reclaimed material, allowing the available remnants to determine the final scale and form. Through cutting, tying, and reworking, Prince treats material as collaborator rather than resource, foregrounding limits, care, and adaptation. This series serves as the foundation from which the Jean Bodies sculptures later emerged.
